It seems like President Obama cannot get his facts straight. I would encourage you to look into the program entitled Tenncare. This is a free healthcare insurance program in Tennessee. It is widely abused and has almost bankrupted hospitals and the Tennessee State Budget despite attempts at reform. I have seen patients use it fraudulently to obtain narcotics, share cards and lie about their identity, and use Emergency Rooms as clinic visits to get prescriptions for Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Which can be purchased cheaply over the counter. I have also discharged Tenncare patients who have received a free medical screening, medical workup, and prescription under Tenncare and as I wheel them to their vehicle they are driving a 2009 Cadillac Escalade, Lexus, or Hummer. So these patients cannot afford a private health insurance policy but somehow they scrape together enough change to make a monthly payment on an expensive SUV?

I also understand that the town-hall meetings Obama and his staff hold are preplanned with invited guests and preplanned questions. I would like to encourage you and all members of his administration to hold an honest open town-hall meeting...I would like to see Obama invite people from all over America and have a real dialogue about the state of our great Nation. I would like to see it air uncensored and unedited so people with opposing viewpoints could get a straight and honest answer from him.
The American People are not ignorant or easily fooled. We are rational and good hearted people who wish for America to be the great country she was designed to be as imagined by our founding fathers who wrote the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.
I hoped that Obama would keep his promises to bring change and hope to America. But he has only acted as a third term for President Bush. The Iraq and Afghanistan War continue..along with unmanned drones bombing Pakistan. Additional Troops have been sent to Afghanistan..I say we brings our sons and daughters home...Let foreign nations work out their own conflicts. Let us only go to war if we are attacked on our own soil and a Declaration of War is voted on and supported by the Congress. We are not the world police.

We can send aid in the form of food or medical supplies to foreign nations..but that should come from private charities and individuals..No wonder Americans are despised worldwide when we occupy and have troop stations on foreign lands. How upset would Americans be if 10,000 Somalian Soldiers occupied a piece of America in the name of keeping their country safe?

Also, the use of private taxpayer money to bailout GM, Chrysler, Citibank,, etc.. is unheard of and an insult to hardworking tax paying Americans...Why should my money that I have sweated and tolled for go to fat cats who sit in plush boardrooms? If my family is in debt or not making enough money every month then we cut something out of our budget. No fast food or no movies. Or we have our cable cut off. No one magically prints money and sends it to me when I have fumbled my monthly budget/income.
Here is an example: If you have $20,000 dollars in credit card debt, you don't open another credit card account and use it to pay off your 1st bill...That would cause a cycle of unending debt, rising interest payments, and poverty. You cannot spend your way out of debt.
The cash for clunkers program is a perfect example. This program is a perfect example of redistribution of wealth. I trade in my old car, I get a $4500 credit towards a brand new car. Where does the $4500 come from? The American Taxpayer. Let's say I purchase a $18,000 vehicle. When I drive it off of the lot, it loses approximately $2000 to $3000 in value. I have also now have a monthly car payment with interest. So the Automobile Industry has made money off of my purchase, the banking industry is making money on the interest rate from the loan, and I am now in debt. Oh, and the American Taxpayers have fronted $4500 for ever individual who chooses to take part in this program. How is this not redistribution of wealth? This program supposedly saves on emissions and is an effort to produce a more green America...but that is only a farce to continue out of control spending and taxing...
I would love to participate in or witness a real Town Hall meeting with Obama and his Administration...If the President could not work that in his schedule...I would be content with an open question and answer session between President Obama and Representative Ron Paul from Texas. I believe he represents a majority of rational, logical, Constitution loving Americans.

People all across the country are 'waking up' to this supposed change and seeing it for what it is..Socialism and Fascism. The Mainstream Media is controlled by the Elite and feed us lies daily. More and more people are seeking their news through the Internet and alternative sources such as blogs. The Information Revolution has begun and will continue! You cannot stifle the Spirit of Liberty and Truth!
