TENNESSEE BAILOUTS

Food Stamp Benefits $482,693,000
• Increases benefit amounts to those households eligible for supplemental
nutritional assistance.
• Administering Department: Human Services

Food Stamp Administration $9,064,500
• Provides funding for increased administrative costs to the Supplemental Nutritional
Assistance program.
• Administering Department: Human Services

Sec. 8 Housing-Energy Project Based Rental Assistance $35,909,700
o Funding for owners of Section Eight housing in Tennessee. This funding represents
a commitment for a full year’s worth of funding for project-based housing
contracts.
o Administering Department: Tennessee Housing Development Agency

Public Housing Capital Fund $80,710,000
• Funds allocated to existing Public Housing Authorities for capital investment
projects.
• Administering Entity: Local Governments

Medicaid $1,100,000,000
• Sets higher federal match rate for Medicaid spending.
• Can help extend the Medicaid Transitional Medical Assistance option to 18 months
for dislocated workers.
• Administering Department: TennCare


REALLY!!! I could be totally wrong, but when your on Tenncare and you've got your handful of scripts for narcotics, your scripts for Tylenol and Motrin for your baby (cuz you need a prescription to buy over the counter meds!? NO YOU DON'T! YOUR JUST TOO CHEAP TO SPEND MONEY ON YOUR OWN CHILDREN!), and I'm pushing you out to your 2009 Lincoln Navigator something just don't seem right to me.
