Lou Dobbs

Lou Dobbs has announced he will no longer work for CNN. He was a lone voice of reason at times and probably the only intelligent/conservative platform on CNN. I hope he ventures out and creates an independent show or radio program. To jump ship and pledge allegiance to FOX would be a dissapointment.

You may recall that Lou Dobb's personal residence was shot up by unkown assailants...

"Dobbs says he had been receiving threatening phone calls for weeks. On his radio show, he connected the gunshot to his advocacy for a crackdown on illegal immigration and to his opponents' rhetoric."
"Police in New Jersey are trying to determine who fired a bullet that struck CNN commentator Lou Dobbs' home as his wife stood nearby.
State police Sgt. Stephen Jones says Dobbs' wife and driver were outside the home Oct. 5 when they heard the gunshot. Jones says the bullet didn't penetrate the siding and fell to the ground outside."

There are allegations that members of La Raza are responsible for the intimidation/attempted murder of Lou Dobbs and/or his family. For more information on La Raza check out this link:

"Our contention all along was that Lou Dobbs - who has a long history of spreading lies and conspiracy theories about immigrants and Latinos - does not belong on the most trusted name in news," said Roberto Lovato, co-founder of "We are thrilled that Dobbs no longer has the legitimate platform from which to incite fear and hate."

"Tom Saenz, president of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the leading Latino legal organization, said, "The Latino community can and should celebrate that Lou Dobbs is no longer on CNN"
