I used to think people like this were maniacs...They usually are doom and gloom prophets and have no real solution to offer you, except for the promise of more secret information when you purchase their next book...
I have not read this book..only browsed through his website and found it very informative with practical advice and helpful links. Right now we are in uncertain times.... And lately, I've been thinking how it couldn't it hurt to have some sort of food stash or plan in case of a natural disaster or Economic Collapse..
I propose a Liberty Closet to start with...Clean out a closet in your house..usually closets accumulate weird jackets, vacuum cleaners, etc...
Here are some suggestions on what to stock in your Liberty Closet:
Gallons of Water
Canned Goods (Can opener)
Dried Foods
Peanut Butter
Blankets
Batteries
Flashlights
Matches
First Aid Kit
Various Eating Utensils
Alcohol based Hand Gel
Various Knives- for skinning an animal, preparing food, self-defense
Guns and Ammo- At least one handgun and one long range rifle, with ammunition and a gun cleaning kit (can be used for self defense or to kill an animal for food)
Various Denominations of Cash
Some amount of gold (necklaces, coins, rings, etc)
Old Clothing for different seasons (boots, socks, sweaters, jackets, hats)
Map of USA or local map
This topic leads me to two important issues to me... Family and the return of the male as a Provider... I think the American Male has been targeted for extinction via manicures, body waxing, facials, the dumbing down of the husband or male in television/movies, and the high prevalence of divorce and Single Parent Families. I believe a return to Masculinity and a return to devotion to your wife and children would start the revolution America needs right now.. more on those two issues to come...
