Has anyone ever read the Stand, by Stephen King?!

I have two theories about the current Swine Flu Hysteria:

1) THERE IS A SWINE FLU, NATURALLY OCCURRING, BUT IT IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. BIG BROTHER (FEDERAL GUBMENT) WANTS TO WHIP EVERYONE INTO A FRENZY WHILE BEHIND THE SCENES THE NEXT AMERICAN TRAGEDY OR WAR IS BEING PLANNED.


3) THE SWINE FLU IS A PRODUCT OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND WAS EITHER ACCIDENTLY OR INTENTIONALLY RELEASED IN MEXICO.

As of 4/28/09 the CDC has reported confirmed infections of the Swine Flu in California, Texas, Ohio, New York, and Kansas. CDC also reports possible cases in Scotland, New Zealand, Israel, Canada, Spain and France. FOXNEWS reports that 100's of newly infected are New York High School students.

April 16th Obama was greeted by Felipe Solis, a renowned archaeologist, in Mexico City. The next day Felipe Solis drops dead of the Swine Flu (unconfirmed).

Ironically, The Obama team never really got around to appointing a Surgeon General, a permanent CDC Director, or a Secretary of Health and Services. That's right, those spots are vacant despite his stated intention for all Americans to receive Healthcare.
(Do you really think the Federal Govn. should be responsible for telling physicians how to treat, what meds to prescribe, who is eligible for surgeries and at what age group..let's say 70.. it becomes good fiscal policy to cut off further treatment?)

Oh, but don't worry we receive daily medical briefings about a supposedly new,unknown virus
which is a mixture of four different viruses: North American swine flu, North American avian flu, human H1N1 flu and a swine flu strain found in Asia and Europe. We receive these briefings from Janet Napolitano, whom is the Homeland Security Secretary and John Brennan who is the Deputy National Security Advisor. I would rather receive briefing from...I don't know.. a doctor or epidemiologist...but that's just me.

REWIND TO 9/15/08 Galveston TX:

"The Galveston area of Texas that took a direct hit from Hurricane Ike is home to a top-level biodefense laboratory that studies highly contagious and deadly diseases including bird flu, but lab officials are assuring the public that the pathogens were secured before the storm made landfall. The Robert E. Shope Laboratory is located in the Keiller Building on the sprawling University of Texas Medical Branch campus in Galveston. The basement of the Keiller Building flooded during the storm, but UTMB reports there was no loss of biocontainment or biosecurity. All labs were decontaminated and secured prior to the storm, with all infectious agents stored in proper containers, according to UTMB. However, UTMB’s statement contradicts claims by state and federal officials that the lab’s pathogens were destroyed before Ike hit. For example, Texas Governor Rick Perry's spokesperson told CNN that the lab’s pathogens were purposely destroyed before the staff evacuated the facility. Officials with the Department of Homeland Security also told the network dangerous materials were destroyed. CNN reported on questions about the pathogen destruction claims raised by an unnamed former UTMB student who worked at the lab. REWIND FURTHER TO Fort Dix in New Jersey 1976

One soldier died. Somehow the sneaky Swine Flu snuck out of a test tube and killed Private David Lewis. Mass Hysteria via the media and President Ford ensued...with a promise to vaccinate every American. Congressmen Ron Paul and Larry Mcdonald , who both happened to be MD's, were the only two to voice opposition and vote against the national administration of the Swine Flu Vaccine/Program. It turns out 25 Americans died from the Original Swine Flu Vaccine which was hurried through Congress (sound familiar) and many more Americans fell ill.

REWIND FURTHER TO 1932- THE TUSKEGEE EXPERIMENT

The Federal Government and the US Public Health Service had a little problem named Syphilis. So a team of doctors and a black nurse (for street cred) began to get the word out that you could get a free ride to the doctor, free physical, free hot meal, and free treatment of minor ailments if you would participate in the GOVERNMENT program. Initially the study consisted of
399 syphilitic Black men and 201 healthy Black men as controls (uninfected). Penicillin is discovered in 1947, and today Penicillin is still the gold standard for treatment of Syphilis. Now check out the stunning conclusion to this Federal Govn. sponsored study:

"..Study researchers prevented their patients from participating.^[12] During World War II, 250 of the subject men registered for the draft and were consequently diagnosed and ordered to obtain treatment for syphilis before they could be taken into the armed services. PHS researchers prevented them from getting treatment, thus also depriving them of being cured, serving the country, and gaining the benefit of the GI Bill passed after the war. The PHS representative at the time was quoted as saying: "So far, we are keeping the known positive patients from getting treatment."^[12] By the end of the study in 1972, only 74 of the test subjects were alive. 28 of the original 399 men had died of syphilis, 100 were dead of related complications, 40 of their wives had been infected, and 19 of their children had been born with congenital syphilis." source:

Baxter, a huge pharmaceutical company, is wanting a shot at making a vaccine for our current swine flu CRISIS!!! Reports state the vaccine could be readily available for American administration in 4 months. Here's what Baxter has been up to lately:

"It's emerged that virulent H5N1 bird flu was sent out by accident from an Austrian lab last year and given to ferrets in the Czech Republic before anyone realised. As well as the risk of it escaping into the wild, the H5N1 got mixed with a human strain, which might have spawned a hybrid that could unleash a pandemic."

"Last December, the Austrian branch of US vaccine company Baxter sent a batch of ordinary human H3N2 flu, altered so it couldn't replicate, to Avir Green Hills Biotechnology, also in Austria. In February, a lab in the Czech Republic working for Avir alerted Baxter that, unexpectedly, ferrets inoculated with the sample had died. It turned out the sample contained live H5N1, which Baxter uses to make vaccine."

The flu vaccine is supposed to contained a killed or inactivated virus, which when injected into our bodies, our immune system easily creates antibodies to fight the form of the flu in which we are being vaccinated against.


LOCAL RESPONSES..MUSING FROM HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS:

Last week scenarios where played across ER's in Tennessee. From my understanding, this is a yearly drill in which members of TEMA (Tennessee Emergency Management Agency) play make believe at different ER's to gauge a cities readiness for a disasters such as Bioterrorism, Plane Crash, Chemical Warfare, or a Dirty Bomb. These exercises consist of separating the potentially infected from the uninfected, appropriate triage based on their exposure and/or physical wounds or deformity, decontamination of the ill individual, proper fitting of protective suits, and practice denying "infected" patients into the ER. These scenarios were established after 9/11 to prepare local ER's and Hospitals for future attacks.

I spoke with different medical professionals: Nurses, Doctors, and Paramedics. Some felt it was not naturally occurring and could have been a manufactured virus, others thought it only targeted Hispanics, also some thought it was a naturally mutated virus and it would not be that serious. Either way, just wash your hands with warm soap and water vigorously, sneeze/cough into your sleeve, and don't go to work or public gatherings if you feel ill. OH, and don't take the upcoming vaccine.


The Cytokine Storm:

Basically, your experienced and strong immune system betrays itself. You drown in your own bodies response resulting in your lungs filling with fluid and macrophages.

"It is believed that cytokine storms were responsible for many of the deaths during the 1918 influenza pandemic, which killed a disproportionate number of young adults.^[1] In this case, a healthy immune system may have been a liability rather than an asset. Preliminary research results from Hong Kong also indicated this as the probable reason for many deaths during the SARS epidemic in 2003.^[4] Human deaths from the bird flu H5N1 usually involve cytokine storms as well.^[5] Recent reports of high mortality among healthy young adults in the 2009 swine flu outbreak point to cytokine storms as being responsible for these deaths.^[6]"
