Here is an excerpt from the Infowars article on Obama's declaration of National Emergency over the Swine Flu:

"U.S. President Barack Obama has signed a proclamation declaring 2009 H1N1 swine flu a national emergency, the White House said on Saturday.
The proclamation, which Obama signed on Friday night, will make it easier for U.S. medical facilities to handle a surge in flu patients by allowing the waiver of some requirements of Medicare, Medicaid and other federal health insurance programs as needed, the White House said in a statement.


The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday that H1N1 swine flu has become widespread in 46 of the 50 U.S. states, a level comparable to the peak of ordinary flu seasons but far earlier and with more waves of infection expected.
The White House statement said the declaration was intended to prepare the country in case of "a rapid increase in illness that may overburden health care resources" and was similar to disaster declarations issued before hurricanes hit coastal areas.


Seasonal flu normally peaks sometime between late November and early March.
Swine flu has hit young adults and children the hardest, while seasonal flu normally is more dangerous for people over age 65. H1N1 has killed more than 1,000 Americans and put more than 20,000 in the hospital in the United States since it emerged earlier this year, the CDC said. But health officials are quick to note that the actual number of cases cannot be measured.

Even though the H1N1 pandemic appears to have peaked out, U.S. President Barack Obama has now declared a national emergency over swine flu infections. The reasoning behind such a declaration? According to the White House, it’s designed to "allow hospitals to better handle the surge in patients" by allowing them to bypass certain federal laws.

Emergency powers trump the Bill of Rights

That’s the public explanation for this, but the real agenda behind this declaration may be far more sinister. Declaring a national emergency immediately gives federal authorities dangerous new powers that can now be enforced at gunpoint, including:

• The power to force mandatory swine flu vaccinations on the entire population.

• The power to arrest, quarantine or "involuntarily transport" anyone who refuses a swine flu vaccination.

• The power to quarantine an entire city and halt all travel in or out of that city.

• The power to enter any home or office without a search warrant and order the destruction of any belongings or structures deemed to be a threat to public health.

• The effective nullification of the Bill of Rights. Your right to due process, to being safe from government search and seizure, and to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination are all null and void under a Presidential declaration of a national emergency."

UPDATE:

There is no emergency. I assure you that the Swine Flu has been relatively mild. I have taken care of over 100+ patients with the Swine Flu and I did not get infected. There have been deaths from the Swine Flu. Three deaths that are possibly linked to the Swine Flu in Tennessee. They have not been confirmed, only suspected.

Let's put this 'national emergency' in perspective. In 2008 Tuberculosis killed 1.7 million people worldwide. In 2008 The Regular/Seasonal Flu killed 30,000 people worldwide according to the CDC. It is almost Spring in Australia right now, and their Swine Flu/Regular Flu season is winding down...They had 200 deaths from the Swine Flu in a population of 22 million.

The majority of stories on Mass Media Television (Fox, ABC, CNN) are reporting shortages of the Swine Flu Vaccine. They report long waits at the Health Clinics. They show Americans smiling and waiting, old, young, children, and pregnant women standing in endless lines. They show smiling nurses giving shots, and Doctors with grave expressions endorsing the Swine Flu vaccines and stating how it is your responsibility as a good citizen to get your shot.

The recent reporting on the SHORTAGE OF THE SWINE FLU VACCINE...Is because no one wants to get vaccinated! A lot of people I talk to ...Doctors, nurses, teachers...will not take the vaccine. They feel it is dangerous, rushed, and it is unnecessary due to the mildness of the Swine Flu illness.

In order to INCREASE VACCINATIONS the general public must be SCARED INTO taking their shots. Thus, more stories of vaccine shortages, artificially created numbers of Swine Flu deaths, and no coverage of Medical Professionals who speak out against the Swine Flu Vaccine and the potential dangers associated with it.

The Federal Govt. does not want to lose money off of this...They have signed several multi million dollar contracts with various drug companies to manufacture and distribute these vaccines. What are they going to do with unused vaccines? It would be a public relations nightmare and financial folly if the majority of Americans refused the vaccine.

One more thing on the Swine Flu and Pregnancy...Do you recall the recent hype for Pregnant women to get their Swine Flu Vaccine? I have talked to local OB and ER physicians who highly recommended that pregnant women get the Swine flu Vaccine and have seen many Mainstream Media News reports stating that the Swine Flu was especially targeting Pregnant Women and they should definitely be vaccinated...despite the fact that many drugs...Alcohol, certain narcotics,certain antibiotics are very dangerous for a pregnant woman to take...and cross the fetal placenta barrier and can harm/kill the unborn child..SO WHY WOULD YOU TAKE A RUSHED UNNECCESSARY VACCINE:

"Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted with influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or Fluzone vaccine. It is also not known whether these vaccines can cause fetal harm when adminstered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction capacity. Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed."
